Taking your advertising efforts to the next level

Old fashion communication investment

Old fashion communication investment

No matter what industry you’re in, marketing your product or service can present itself as a bigger challenge than you think.
Sometimes utilizing the regular channels of distribution and communication are not enough, or just not specific enough for your goals. I’m talking about implementing new ways of sharing your information with your clients, in an alternative way, seeking and delivering your content to your real audience. An intelligent system where the communication is presented as a two way street and not as an old fashion magazine Ad or as a 300 DPI full color spread brochure.
The communication scheme is changing, an so should you. People have a reduced attention span due to the amount of information they’re bombarded on a daily basis, so your message should be optimize for your target audience. Set a part a segment of your communication budget and try something alternative. Don’t get caught on a disinformation cycle, utilize your resources to the maximum and expand your effort beyond traditional media.
This holds true to small business, medium business and Public relations firms, Investing in alternative media is the most cost effective way for your ROI

Tools for PR marketing professionals

Old media outlets

Old media outlets

We all know that the world we’re living is suffering extreme changes. From the way we communicate to the methods we employ to do business, all small and medium business have to adapt into a new dimension of consumers, communication and marketing.

Public Relation firms are no exceptions .  The intense changes on the media itself have pushed them to find new venues and alternatives for their clients efforts and investment. Locking niche sector magazine reviews or articles are not enough anymore, and just a fraction of the complete media effort.

We all know that one of the most cost-effective ways of penetration can be found online instead of the classical media outlets such as newspapers, radio, tv, cable and even segment magazines. It seems that the information turnaround has been reduced considerably, and that the audience expects to be inform, entertained and  briefed now, as soon as the news develops.
We have developed several tools specific for the PR marketing and advertising segments. Tools that would allow professionals and clients to reach audiences more efficiently and with a marginal cost. Electronic Newsletters,  efficient blogs and social media development that can breach the gap in your online communication effort and could provide you with a better ROI for both of your business.

Why is a database really necessary ?

Say today we sit down and establish your communication goals for the next couple of months. Say a year from now, those same goals have shifted somewhat into a more specific niche or model. Would it be nice to have your previous history along the way, as a track record of your efforts ? We think so. A database system that manages your data queries, can be the most effective communication choice you could ever choose. Once in place, old and new content can coexist peacefully. Let your potential clients browse through your archives and discover your past challenges as well as your success stories. The Spanish philosopher George Santayana once said: “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it” Let’s learn together and never forget where we are and where we are going to.

How to save with your technology decisions ?

Oneblueprint's content managment system

Oneblueprint's CMS

Most of the times we don’t realize that, by planning for the long run, we’re in fact saving a lot of time and money. Either by buying in bulk or by being savvy and negotiating every purchase, thinking ahead would help your financial situation on your communication and technology needs.

Many clients want to have a simple internet presence, one that would allow them to connect to a greater audience beyond their local geography. Most of them claim that their content is not likely going to change over time, and because of this, they decide to build a static, not upgradable web page.
CMS, short for content management system allows you to manage your content and information by yourself. It’s a system, that although is slightly more expensive to create, would save you and your business, money and time on the long run. Imagine being capable of including new events on your calendar, or launching a press release and its gallery without anybody else interference.
That’s just one of the many utilities of a CMS. A solution that can help you grow, and one that keeps your customers and clients updated with your news and information.

Optimizing for the new wireless experience

Everyday there’s a new breakthrough in the way we communicate with each other. Smart PDA and absurdly low budget netbooks PC are the latest affordable, continent to continent, electronic telegram, along with the new launch of all flavors and varieties of smart pads such as the Ipad. Its success or failure is yet to be seen, but one thing is for sure, your content has to be ready and available for everyone. As of right know, no smart phone and smart pad device, is capable of running those nifty and pretty Flash animations that we used, and still,  love so much. It’s all about accessibility right now, instant and at your fingerprints. No matter you’re at home, commuting on the train or bus. Aim high, so everyone can see what you’re talking about, no matter what language or culture they’re from.

Accessibility

Braile Keyboard for open Accessibility

Most of the people that uses technology don’t think about it, but accessibility is one of the key elements for the success of any communication. Either by implementing a new website or a device, it’s a fundamental part of delivering your message. Is not just because there’s a world of different devices and firmware upgrades, or because of custom looks for one or another internet browser. Having your content accessible gets the job done, and helps your audience reach what they seek. Easy, without fancy plugins or complex hierarchy, just an easy path from A to B.

We can also say that one of its main advantages can be seen by a minority of blind users. They depend on the content being optimized as text and nothing else, they disregard any fancy image map and flash introduction. They seek the content that can ‘talk’ literally back to them.
Here’s a small summary out from The American Foundation for the blind website:
“Computer users who are blind usually use a screen reader for most computing activities. This, in simple terms, is a piece of software that “figures out” what is on the screen and sends information to a speech synthesizer to be spoken or to a Braille display. The screen reader provides not only output but to some extent an improved (from the blind user’s point of view) interface.”

Is your content ready for everyone ? Is important for your message to reach everyone ?
