Benefit from producing an online video for your site
Among the array of tools and techniques we can use to attract customers to our small and medium business, utilizing a promotional video of your product or service has to be one of the most interesting and enjoyable experience for your audience. Take in consideration the multitude of factors that you can benefit from producing an online video for your business.
First of all, in most of the cases, a new customer does its research online regarding your brand or product. Having a professionally produced video only enhances your communication message. Customers feel at ease with what they see and experience and they understand the type of product or service you offer. It’s another way of extending a quality control seal on top of your service. They understand your business professionalism and conduct. They can expect no less than what they see.
One of the biggest advantages of producing a professionally looking video for your website has to be its affordability in comparison to producing the same video for a physical format. I’m referring to CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs. Although more tangible and physically appealing, producing small runs of this type of formats requires a lot more of investment by the business thus rendering the communication efforts costly and complicated. Introducing a business online video can have a very quick turn-around. It can also allow for periodic updates to original content and provide business with up to date material without having to invest in prohibitive mail cost and multiple media formats.
Having your videos at Youtube and Vimeo are also an interesting way of spreading the word to your audience, if they’re not aware of your small and medium business website.
It’s important to consider many factors while producing video content for your online communication. In the first place, you have to analyze how relevant your video is in relationship to your content. We, at Oneblueprint Studios, always recommend to extend your message in all media and format.
No matter what type of service or industry you are in, a professionally produced video relevant to your audience would always score higher than your competitors. If you’re selling on-line, if you have an e-commerce solution in place for your small and medium business, you can explore the possibility of including how-to videos, or better yet, customer satisfaction ratings and testimonials. This would not only help your reputation among new clients, but will develop a close and important trust between your brand and your product. Don’t over estimate the importance of a good internet communication.
Having a professionally produced internet video would help you establish this links around your client base because they, as customers, would feel represented in what they see, while expanding their online experience at your website. This is another way of committing your communication to higher-standards.
This is one of many strategies we provide at Oneblueprint Studios for small and medium business. A direct approach to your online communication difficulties and challenges.

Not long ago I had a meeting with a client at his office. In our phone conversation, I would recall his particular interest in what our company interactive services were, and how we could help him and ultimately also his brand’s online presence.
I remember entering the conference room on a Tuesday morning, shaking hands while he said: “When we started our business, over a decade ago, I remember that when a Miami or Miami Beach executive needed something, he will tell his secretary to get the latest yellow pages. He would instruct her to find the biggest ad available inside our trade, and then to call to the number listed on the guide immediately to set up a meeting”
We both smiled. We both knew those times were over thus his request to help develop a digital campaign for his small business brought me to their conference room that same morning.
In all honesty, this story is all too familiar. What media investment and development, a small and medium business had in the past, is no longer valid or relevant in today’s market. It’s also true that a bigger percent of your audience might be looking for relevant information about your business elsewhere. Having the proper communication strategy in place at the time of purchase should be your ultimate priority.
Are you listed locally ? Are you marketing the proper segment of population ? Is your message accessible to all your prospect clients ?
Having your small and medium business listed in local online directories should be also one of your digital strategy’s priorities. There are many reasons why this is true, among them we can list some of the most important ones:
Direct access to your services and location
Listing of your hours of operation
Directory of your service’s reviews by other users. [ This is particularly important since it reinforces the quality of your services with community’s validation ]
Direct link to website and specific information.
As we said at the beginning, your message might be somewhat similar but the local and instant listing on an online directory plus the community’s validation, re-enforces your message information across your digital investment.
This is one of many strategies we provide at Oneblueprint Studios for small and medium business. A direct approach to your online communication difficulties and challenges.

Link your print efforts to your online communication
There was a time, where once you completed a new media or advertising campaing, there was no real way of measuring its success. It was an exclusive “branding” investment where your product with a somewhat sub conscience awareness gained some momentum in the physique of your audience.
We like to propose an alternative to this idea. A more challenging and call-to-action response with some exclusive content that could bring advertisers and audience a little step closer.
I’m talking about having your call to action in an interactive way, with a QR code.
QR codes have been around for a long time, and are an everyday thing for Japanese audiences. The development of communication through QR content is getting more traction here in America since allows you to extend the boundaries of your print, billboard and urban communication.
The secret behind this approach revolves around many factors, one of the most important dwells around its relevance, the QR extended content. What new and unique information I might see or experience with my mobile phone after scanning a QR code on my phone.
This technique can be use for a variety of reason, and most of all, as a way of getting analytic information out of your target audience.
Maximize your brand and PR return of investment effort
Sometimes it happens overnight and we just loose track of our goals. It happens in our everyday life, and it definitely occurs in the business world more than you might think. Keeping a steady course in the middle of a storm is harder than in the middle of a calm sea, but nevertheless, a challenging task in today’s market. You audience is no different. They are bombarded with ideas, necessities and requirements among millions of other things on an everyday basis. That’s why your effort, either from your communication or Public relation stand point, should be specific and flexible enough to adapt with you and your audience. May you get caught in the middle of a hurricane or a smooth and silky ride, the intention is the same, think ahead and make your ROI worth while.
We have designed and implemented systems for companies and PR firms that allows them to advance and position themselves ahead of the competition. A system that adapts where you need it, and that molds to your requirements. Keeping your return of investment in good shape for tomorrow’s challenge.
No matter what industry you’re in, marketing your product or service can present itself as a bigger challenge than you think. Sometimes utilizing the regular channels of distribution and communication are not enough, or just not specific enough for your goals. I’m talking about implementing new ways of sharing your information with your clients, in an alternative way, seeking and delivering your content to your real audience. An intelligent system where the communication is presented as a two way street and not as an old fashion magazine Ad or as a 300 DPI full color spread brochure. The communication scheme is changing, an so should you. People have a reduced attention span due to the amount of information they’re bombarded on a daily basis, so your message should be optimize for your target audience. Set a part a segment of your communication budget and try something alternative. Don’t get caught on a disinformation cycle, utilize your resources to the maximum and expand your effort beyond traditional media. This holds true to small business, medium business and Public relations firms, Investing in alternative media is the most cost effective way for your ROI
We all know that the world we’re living is suffering extreme changes. From the way we communicate to the methods we employ to do business, all small and medium business have to adapt into a new dimension of consumers, communication and marketing.
Public Relation firms are no exceptions . The intense changes on the media itself have pushed them to find new venues and alternatives for their clients efforts and investment. Locking niche sector magazine reviews or articles are not enough anymore, and just a fraction of the complete media effort.
We all know that one of the most cost-effective ways of penetration can be found online instead of the classical media outlets such as newspapers, radio, tv, cable and even segment magazines. It seems that the information turnaround has been reduced considerably, and that the audience expects to be inform, entertained and briefed now, as soon as the news develops.
We have developed several tools specific for the PR marketing and advertising segments. Tools that would allow professionals and clients to reach audiences more efficiently and with a marginal cost. Electronic Newsletters, efficient blogs and social media development that can breach the gap in your online communication effort and could provide you with a better ROI for both of your business.
As Miguel Angel Ruiz writes on his best-seller book “The four agreements” Be impeccable with your word. This might sound a little strong for some, but it should be one of your communication goals. Being precise on your content and communication not only would allow you a more direct and concise relationship with your clients, but it will also help you define and market your niche. This is extremely important at the time of creating your website or any type of online communication. Define the topics you want to talk to your audience, and follow it through your online digital search engine optimization.
Investing in online marketing and promotion have been proven as the most cost effective way of business. It’s easier to reach your target audience and deliver your message through out a spectrum of formats. Don’t wait, we can turn around your failing communication efforts.
Say today we sit down and establish your communication goals for the next couple of months. Say a year from now, those same goals have shifted somewhat into a more specific niche or model. Would it be nice to have your previous history along the way, as a track record of your efforts ? We think so. A database system that manages your data queries, can be the most effective communication choice you could ever choose. Once in place, old and new content can coexist peacefully. Let your potential clients browse through your archives and discover your past challenges as well as your success stories. The Spanish philosopher George Santayana once said: “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it” Let’s learn together and never forget where we are and where we are going to.
Most of the times we don’t realize that, by planning for the long run, we’re in fact saving a lot of time and money. Either by buying in bulk or by being savvy and negotiating every purchase, thinking ahead would help your financial situation on your communication and technology needs.
Many clients want to have a simple internet presence, one that would allow them to connect to a greater audience beyond their local geography. Most of them claim that their content is not likely going to change over time, and because of this, they decide to build a static, not upgradable web page. CMS, short for content management system allows you to manage your content and information by yourself. It’s a system, that although is slightly more expensive to create, would save you and your business, money and time on the long run. Imagine being capable of including new events on your calendar, or launching a press release and its gallery without anybody else interference.
That’s just one of the many utilities of a CMS. A solution that can help you grow, and one that keeps your customers and clients updated with your news and information.
