Some people thought this was inevitable. Google was already investing on their voicemail system – aka Google Voice – So with the inclusion of Android it was clear that the search engine giant was just a step away from becoming a heavy weight contender on the smart phone arena.
First of all, I want to stand out Google’s intelligence and advantage. Their game is and always will be related to software, not hardware. Knowing which battles to fight is, in my opinion, one of the most important things for a company, and definitely even more important for a corporation.
We have seen so many examples of giants being driven to a technology arena they  know nothing about, only to witness their downfall and collision course minutes after their launch – (Sony, Iomega). Marketing, strategy, narrow vision, It’s hard to say which one of these are responsible for the lack of understanding, but nevertheless not knowing, what’s worth for you and your business, your time and resources.
So far, little has been published about this new phone. Probably it would make use of Google’s vast knowledge, I wouldn’t be surprise to see a phone with only Voice over IP protocols, and completely inter twain system with all Google’s apps –  Pretty much like an Android on its own network.
You might only need the infrastructure to give everyone access. This might be the most expensive part of the process – Techcrunch informs that either HTC or a Korean cellphone manufacture are taking the design blueprints to build it – Having the fast network thought out the entire country is not complicated, but an expensive task. Perhaps it’s time to give the balloon idea a whole new meaning!.
